Webinar Scouts FNA “Estar «Alerta !” - Online, March 4, 2024 | 9:30 pm | Zoom platform
Initiative of Fraternidade Nuno Alvares (FNA), an association of adult scouts, member of the ISGF fellowship, which organizes the Webinar "Estar Alerta!", whose guests are the Wild Animal Recovery Center Wild Animal Recovery Center of the UTAD Veterinary Hospital (CRAS-HVUTAD) and the Institute for Nature Conservations and Forests (ICNF – Northern Region), national authority CITIES signatory. For their importance in the conservation of wildlife and for their excellent support and technical guidance in environmental volunteering and in sharing the return to Nature of recovered birds, in successive editions of FNA’s national environmental activity “CRIAR RAíZES” held annually in the Alvão Natural Park.
The FNA Webinar “Be Alert!” aims to celebrate World Wildlife Day, inviting adult scouts to participate in a global journey to explore technological innovation dedicated to the conservation of animals and plants on our planet and, a national reflection on wildlife and of the remarkable work to rehabilitate wild animals in the Alvão Natural Park area, a national protected area celebrating its 40th anniversary.

Celebrating World Wildlife Day! We unite our voices for the preservation and protection of the incredible diversity that surrounds us. Each creature, each ecosystem, is a fundamental piece of the beautiful mosaic of life on our planet.

For this special day, we are proud to announce our partnership with ADENEX in the Planta Bosques Environmental Volunteer Program, an initiative dedicated to reforesting areas of Portugal and Spain. We believe that restoring natural habitats is essential to ensuring a sustainable future for wildlife and for all of us.

From the 1st to the 3rd of March, we will promote the plantation of native trees and the restauration of forest ecosystems in a cross-border area, in particular, in Valencia de Alcántara and Castelo de Vide.

Vamos celebrar o Dia Mundial da Vida Selvagem! Unimos as nossas vozes em prol da preservação e proteção da incrível diversidade que nos rodeia. Cada criatura, cada ecossistema, é uma peça fundamental do belo mosaico da vida no nosso planeta.

No âmbito deste dia especial, estamos orgulhosos de anunciar a nossa parceria com com a ADENEX no Voluntariado Ambiental Planta Bosques, uma iniciativa dedicada a reflorestar áreas de Portugal e Espanha. Acreditamos que restaurar os habitats naturais é essencial para garantir um futuro sustentável para a vida selvagem e para todos nós.

De 1 a 3 de março, vamos promover a plantação de árvores autóctones e a restauração de ecossistemas florestais numa zona transfronteiriça, nomeadamente em Valência de Alcántara e Castelo de Vide.
